Incompliance with the “Timely Notice” provisions of the federal Jeanne Clery Act the UT Dallas Police Department is giving notice of a delayed report of a:

POSSIBLE SEXUAL ASSUALT

UT Dallas University Village Apartments Phase VIII

June 6, 2009 between 12:00AM – 9:30AM

The UT Dallas Police Department received a delayed report of a possible sexual assault. The circumstances suggest a female had consumed alcohol off campus and got a ride home from a male who she did not know. The complainant reported memory loss due to alcohol consumption. Circumstances suggest the possibility of a sexual assault. No force was reported.

REWARD

On April 13th and April 15th, 2009 an unknown person(s) forcibly entered into several apartments. Stolen were laptop computers, televisions, cell phones, credit cards, check books, iPods, and gaming systems.

Police Investigating Burglaries in Campus Apartments
April 13 and 15, 2009

Since Monday, three campus apartments have been burglarized by individuals who have kicked or otherwise forced doors open in Phase 7.

No one has been injured. In one case, a student was inside an apartment. All of the incidents have occurred between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Tenants are urged to report unknown individuals or suspicious activity to police at (972) 883-2331. UT Dallas officers are actively investigating these crimes.

Keep valuables out of sight, close blinds during the day, and be alert to your surroundings.

Female Assaulted
March 13, 2009

Female was approached in the women's restroom at ECSS 4.6R1 on March 12, 2009 at approximately 9:00 pm. A male approached her and touched her inappropriately. The suspect description is:

  • Middle Eastern Male
  • 25-30 yrs. old
  • 5'7"
  • 130-150 lbs.
  • Black hair
  • Black eyes
  • Wearing Glasses
  • No facial hair
  • Medium length hair
  • Wearing black jacket, black pants and shoes

This notice is provided for future reference and is precautionary in nature. The individual named was charged with assault with a deadly weapon on January 10, 2009. He is legally barred from entering the UT Dallas campus. If you see this individual on campus at any time please immediately call the UT Dallas Police Department at 911 or 972-883-2331.
