Executive Vice President and Provost
Dr. Hobson Wildenthal
In his role as the chief academic officer for the university, the Provost serves as deputy to the President and is responsible for the formulation and implementation of educational policy. The Provost also has a significant role in fund raising and external relations for the university.
Vice President for Business Affairs
Dr. Calvin Jamison
As the chief financial officer for the university community, the Vice President for Business Affairs has responsibility for all fiscal matters including the Budget, Controller, Procurement Management and Payroll offices. In addition, the VPBA has oversight for construction and maintenance of the facilities, safety and security of the campus, human resources as well as any auxiliary services. In his role, the VPBA is designated as the Custodian of Records and the Ethics Officer for the university.
Vice President for Student Affairs

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs provides oversight for co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, services and support related to all aspects of campus life.
Vice President for Research
Dr. Bruce Gnade
The Office of the Vice President for Research enhances UT Dallas’ research profile by anticipating new technology, potential collaboration partners and research opportunities for the university.
Vice President for Public Affairs
Amanda Oneacre Rockow
The Office of Public Affairs is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the university’s government and community relations, with an emphasis on state legislative affairs.
Interim Vice President for Development
Laura Beall
The Office of Development supports the university’s fundraising efforts, working closely with the university’s deans and program directors.
Vice President for Communications
Susan Rogers
The Office of Communications provides strategic leadership to meet the challenge of shaping the character, direction and underlying principles of institutional communications at UT Dallas and takes primary responsibility for organizing university-wide resources in the areas of communication and marketing, brand identity and positioning, internal and external communications, message content, media visibility/media relations, and crisis communication.
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Dr. Jim Gary
The mission of Information Resources is to provide the physical, personnel, and financial resources for information technologies that support students, faculty, and staff in accomplishing the research, instructional, and public service functions of the university with an emphasis on placing the university in the vanguard of research and technologically-oriented institutions.

Dr. Magaly Spector
The Office of Diversity and Community Engagement promotes the fulfillment of the UT Dallas commitment to embrace, enhance and celebrate diversity at all levels of the university through the efforts of faculty, staff, student and the executive leadership.
