Judy began working for UT Dallas in 1981 as an Administrative Assistant when Dr. Bryce Jordan was president. She has since worked directly for three other presidents: Drs. Rutford, Jenifer, and now Daniel. Her primary duties include overseeing day-to-day operations of the Office of the President; maintaining the President's calendar and travel schedule; and interacting with all levels of the university, UT System and the community. She has an Associates Degree from El Centro College and enjoys the people she works with and thinks of them like family.

Judy came to UT Dallas in January 2010 as the Director of University Events after spending 25 years in event-related positions with EDS. In this role, her major responsibilities include working with the offices of Development and Alunmi Relations to manage university events; and coordinating key traditions, including the University’s biannual, multi-day graduation ceremonies. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Education from Texas A&M - Commerce (formerly East Texas State University). She enjoys traveling and going on cruises with her family and supporting the activities of her children. Judy and her husband are rare, native Texans who were both born and reared in the north Dallas area.

Sonja began working at UT Dallas in January 2003 and joined the President’s office in January 2011. Her duties include greeting guests, answering the phone, maintaining the McDermott Suite Calendar, as well as assisting Judy Snellings and Judy Barnes with the day to day functions of the President’s office and special events. Sonja’s previous work experience includes 20+ years as a legal assistant in real estate and family law. She and her husband, Max, have two grown children.

Rena began working at UT Dallas with the Human Resources Payroll Department in February of 2007. Since then, she has also worked in Budget and Information Resources, and most recently, the Vice President for Public Affairs Office.  Rena joined the Office of the President in November 2011 as a Special Events Coordinator. Her primary duties include assisting the Director of University Events with the coordination and management of events on campus; including the University’s biannual, multi-day commencement ceremonies.  Rena is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on communications. She enjoys spending her spare time with her son and his many activities.
