UT Dallas Center for Students in Recovery

Our Mission

The CSR provides a safe, supportive community in an effort to enhance student’s ability to thrive socially and academically while living in recovery. The CSR strives to empower students by offering student led peer-support groups and individual consultation with a mental health professional. Presentations and educational workshops discussing addiction and harm-reduction focused on substance use, disordered eating, and other behavioral addictions are available to faculty, staff, and students. Support services are free and available to all students – those in recovery as well as students who are curious about the impact of potentially addictive behavior on their life
