The Aquatics Program offers water aerobics, one-on-one lessons and workshops to improve your swimming technique. The natatorium offers convenient hours throughout the day for you to take advantage of whether you are looking for an early morning workout or an evening cool down.

Swimming Classes

The adult and children swimming classes will focus on being comfortable and safe both in and around the water. Pool safety is stressed to children as well as having fun. Parents are welcome to join. All levels will focus on technique with all four competitive strokes: front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke and butterfly. Class will include drills and developing a training/workout structure based on individual needs. Learn more »

We will focus on helping you become more hydrodynamic. Being more hydrodynamic will help you swim longer and increase your endurance while swimming more effectively. You will learn proper techniques for each competitive stroke. Even if you're not a strong swimmer, this class will give you the tools you need to become stronger.

Private Swimming Lessons

Brush up on your swimming techniques with a certified water safety instructor. This one on one lesson will help you master the water by working to improve techniques and strokes that you already know. Contact Holly Worrell or Elizabeth to schedule your appointment today!

Scuba Workshops

Gear classes are from 10 a.m. to noon. Classroom/pool and open water times are on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sundays from 12-6 p.m.

  • Earn your PADI Scuba certificate after a completed workshop.
  • Full refund with failure to pass medical.
  • $20 processing fee for cancellations less than one week.
  • Bring your own snorkel, mask and fins.
  • All other equipment/materials provided.
  • Fill out and return (with payment) the following required medical forms:
  • Registration available Monday - Friday in the Recreational Sports Office.
  • Full payment due at registration.
  • You must attend all dates in the session to complete the course.

Water Aerobics

Water Aerobics is an excellent way to improve your strength and flexibility. Enjoy a fun, energetic workout in the water using exercise bands and weights. This class is a great way to get back in shape and is excellent for anyone with injuries or joint problems. Best of all, you don't even have to know how to swim or get your hair wet!

Group X Pass $50 access to all classes (including Group X)
Individual Pass $3 access to any individual class
Passes are good for the semester. Refunds will be given if requested during the first week of class. Participants must show proof of pass and ID before entering class. Sponsored guests will be required to pay the $2 Activity Center fee as well as a $3 group exercise fee for a single class. Community users will be required to pay the $5 Activity Center fee as well as the $3 group exercise fee for a single class.
