Stimulus Package Information
Signed into law by President Obama on Feb. 17, 2009, The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the Act) provides funds intended to stimulate the economy. The Act, more commonly known as the stimulus package, has a goal of saving or creating 3.5 million jobs. Funding is available to researchers working in areas that can help to achieve that goal.
