3.  Once the Rings  have been identified, the resulting graph displays all the deletes the unecessary edges and highlights only the needed rings, resulting in a more optimal network configuration.  When compared to our original network, the RingCover algorithm resulted in a more optimal network, by identifing and removing unecessary edges.
