Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
UTD is guided by federal regulations and ethical principles intended to endure the humane care and use of animals in research.
All research involving vertebrae animals that is consuded or authorized under the juridiction of The University of Texas at Dallas is subject to review by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC).
The reivew must be conducted before a project can be started.
