International Scene of Translation Studies

The Center for Translation Studies establishes communication with translation programs and centers both in the United States and the world to promote cross-cultural understanding. Joint translation workshops with institutions in Mexico and translation programs in Brazil have been instituted. Presentation of writers and scholars from foreign countries working in the field of translation practice and theory is promoted in a virtual environment. Joint research projects for the implementation of distance learning courses and virtual conferencing with writers and translators from other countries are in development.
