Pan American Round Table Scholarship Program (PARTSP)


The Office of International Education (OIE), the Center for U.S.-Mexico Studies (CUSMS), and the International Student Services Office (ISSO) proudly announce the

 

Pan American Round Table Scholarship Program (PARTSP) 2013

for Female Students from the Western Hemisphere.

 

Deadline: May 29, 2013, at 4 p.m.

 

The Pan American Round Table Scholarship Program (PARTSP) will offer two (2) scholarships for the amount of $500.00 each to encourage academically talented female students from UT Dallas.

 

I.             The first scholarship will be allocated to a female student from a Western Hemisphere country --any country member of the Organization of American States (OAS)-- pursuing a UT Dallas degree.

Requirements:

 

a. Official UT Dallas transcript

b. Proof of citizenship (copy of passport or birth certificate).

c. Immigration status in good standing: copy of F1 or J1 visa.

d. Two (2) recommendation letters from UT Dallas faculty or staff.

e. One (1) narrative, indicating potential knowledge to be obtained from UT Dallas degree program and benefit to humanity and home community at large.

f.  Minimum GPA of 3.0

Note: Students with double citizenship are not eligible.

 

II.            The second scholarship will be allocated to a female student with U.S. citizenship to pursue an international educational program in any country member of the OAS.

Requirements:

 

a. Official UT Dallas transcript.

b. Proof of citizenship (copy of passport or birth certificate).

c. Two (2) recommendation letters from UT Dallas faculty or staff.

d. One (1) narrative, indicating potential knowledge to be obtained from the international educational program and benefit to humanity and UT Dallas community at large.

e. Minimum GPA of 3.0

f. International educational program to be pursued in the Fall 2013 – long semester program.

Note: Award subject to the satisfaction of the Office of International Education protocol. Students with double citizenship are not eligible.
