Summer Programs
- UTD - Mexico Summer Spanish Program - six (6) credit hours - June 7 - July 2, 2010, Location: University of Guanajuato, Mexico.
UTD Program Coordinator: Dr. Maria Demello.
This program is designed for UTD undergraduate students to immerse in the Mexican culture and Spanish language in the nest of the Mexican Independence, Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico. Students live with Mexican families, enhancing their learning process as guest' members of traditional households, while conceive and pursue a new routine in one of the most historical sites of Mexico.

- UTD - Mexico Summer Research Program - June 7 - July 30, 2010.
Location: The University of Texas at Dallas.
UTD Academic Director: Dr. Austin Cunningham.
The program is designed for Mexican undergraduate students who are pursuing science and/or technology degrees in Mexico to be exposed to UTD research and scientific practices, including publications. Students are selected based on academic qualifications, project proposal, English proficiency, and institutional endorsement by Mexican partner. In most cases, Mexican scholars pursue a graduate degree in UTD (or any other U.S. higher education institution) through any of the sponsorship mechanisms managed by the UTD Center for U.S. - Mexico Studies. Participants are required to write a progress report and give a public final presentation of their research results at the end of the program.
