These are all networked. The local campus net is all fiber optics. All the machines are directly accessible from any terminal or workstation.

      • 30 GB HDD (system use only)
    • Fedora Kernel-2.6, NUMA support, x86-64 support

  2. PC cluster with 8 nodes (32 processors) (all duo-core, duo-processor)
    • Intel Woodcrest 5140 2.33 GHz processors (64 bit) (Supermicro X7DB8 motherboard)

      • 8 (master) and 4 (slaves) GB RAM (DDR2-667)
      • Two 750G Seagate SATA2 disks
