First Open to the Public
Research Advisory Board Meeting

For the first time since its creation, this semi-annual Research Advisory Board (RAB) meeting will be open to the public. This unusual gathering will be UTD's way of introducing to the region this group of globally known outstanding individuals who had been working very hard to build a first rate university in the Metroplex.

The meeting will be held on April 25 from 9:30-11:45 a.m. and 12:30-3:30 p.m. in the Davidson Auditorium (SOM 1.118) of The University of Texas at Dallas. The focus of the day's meeting will be new research ideas and best practices for technology transfer.

Research Advisory Board

For the past five years, the intellectual and economic growth of The University of Texas at Dallas has been intimately linked to the hard work of its distinguished and internationally known Research Advisory Board members.

The board, which is composed of members of academia and both the commercial and defense industries, helps administrators plan the future of the university's research, assist in maintaining a sense of direction and focus in present research and interact synergistically with UTD's internal research council to build a common view of research and human connectivity.
