Media content delivery over the Internet is a challanging problem owing to the increased demand for multicast applications.
In this project the use of overlay networks to facilitate media content delivery will be studied.
Some of the Goals of this project are:
- Develop optmized multicast solutions for media content e.g., Video delivery over overlay networks.
- Develop an experimental platform using open standard ATCA boards for testing multicast soutions.
- Provide media content deivery to UTD student community using the multicast solutions that would be developed as a part of this project and obtain statistic information.
