What is the weather typically like in Dallas?

In early June, the weather in Dallas is heating up. Average temperatures for June are between 70-92 F (21-33 C). It does rain in June - the average is three inches of rain during the month.

How can I find a roomate?

Contact us by email and request a roommate. Be sure to include your gender, advisor's name and contact information. You must plan to stay and pay for your portion of the room for the entire conference.

How do I get a VISA?

We can provide a letter stating your role in the conference so you can more efficiency obtain a VISA to the United States. The responsibility for getting that VISA rests with each individual, not with the organizers of the conference.

How does one get from the airport to the hotel?

Taking a shared-ride shuttle is an inexpensive way of getting to the hotel. The shuttle can be arranged within the airport after you arrive or you can make reservations in advance. See the Travel and Housing page for more information.

Are there any special events/fun things to do in Dallas in June?

Yes! The Adolphus is close to the nation's largest Arts District which includes the symphony center, the Nasher Sculpture and the flagship Neiman Marcus store.
