Data & Resources

The primary objective of The University of Texas at Dallas Education Research Center is to enable education research that will benefit PreK-16 students in Texas by using individual-level administrative data to study the progress and performance of students, teachers, and schools.

Starting with de-identified individual-level student data provided by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Texas Education Agency, The University of Texas at Dallas Education Research Center creates research-ready datasets that have been cleaned and documented in accordance with professional standards.

The University of Texas at Dallas Education Research Center also facilitates secure use of its data by third-party researchers approved by the Joint Advisory Board.
