Favorite thing about teaching Rhetoric 1101: Getting to know my students and discovering what amazing things they bring to UT Dallas.
The biggest lesson I learned as a freshman: Being a part of a campus group connects you forever to your university and creates a sense of family on campus.
My favorite thing about UT Dallas: It affords students the opportunity to develop it into the University they want it to be.
My hobbies: Traveling, hiking and reading.
One book I think everyone should read is: Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi.
Something that people may not know about me: I chose my alma mater for the marching band experience, and it paid off. We went to the Rose Bowl my senior year and won — ASU 22, Michigan 15. Go Sun Devils!
