Favorite thing about teaching Rhetoric 1101: Sharing ideas, experiences and stories.
The biggest lesson I learned as a freshman: You are going to encounter and possibly live with people very different from you, and you will learn more about yourself through your willingness to learn and explore those differences.
My favorite thing about UT Dallas: We don’t have a football team.
My hobbies: Knitting, reading, yoga, Zumba and watching interesting movies.
One book I think everyone should read is: Finding Flow: The Psychology of Engagement with Everyday Life by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
Something that people may not know about me: I once worked at Walt Disney World.
