Do you live on campus? If yes, what do you like about living on your own?
Yes, I simply love the fact that I have a place to call my own. I also enjoy cooking for myself and being hospitable to guests.

Terry Scholars, Golden Key Honour Society, Texas Society of Professional Engineers, UT Dallas Cross Country.

List some of the clubs or organizations you are involved in outside of school.
Communities in Schools Dallas Region, Inc. I am a seventh grade math tutor at Richardson Independent School District’s Liberty Junior High School.

List some of your hobbies.
Playing basketball, running, playing guitar, listening to music and building things.

Something that people may not know about me.
When I get the chance to go home during college breaks, I build custom furniture and gaming tables in my father’s cabinet shop.

Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader?
I chose to be a FYL because I wanted the chance to personally impact the first-year-experience for incoming freshman.

What advice do you have for the freshmen class coming into UT Dallas?
The sooner you go out and meet new people, the more rewarding your freshman year will be.

What do you wish you did during your freshmen year that you didn’t?
If I could go back and do it again, I would have been more outgoing earlier on and met as many people as I could during Welcome Week and Freshman Convocation.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
I love that the smaller size of UT Dallas affords each individual student the opportunity to be involved in virtually any aspect of the University.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
I chose UT Dallas for its highly-ranked engineering program, its smaller size and its Dallas location.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
Living in Phase VIII my freshman year would have to be my best experience thus far because of the friendships and memories made with other residents.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
I have learned that college is the time to define who you truly are as a person.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
I usually workout to relax after classes each day.
