List something unique about yourself.
I skipped the 5th grade.

Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader?
Because I want to make a difference at UT Dallas and let freshmen know how much fun they can have at this school.

What advice do you have for freshmen coming into UT Dallas?
Get involved in some organization or program and get connected with activities happening on campus rather than just going to class alone.

What do you wish you did during your freshmen year that you didn’t?
I didn’t become involved until my sophomore year, and I wish that I had started much sooner to meet more people.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
The opportunity for an individual to make an impact here, and the people at UT Dallas — you’re not treated like a number.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
I love the people in my (apartment) building, intramural sports and earning a scholarship to do a study abroad during the summer.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
You really don’t have to eat Ramen noodles everyday!

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Go to the activity center and run.
