Do you live on campus? What do you like about it?
I live on campus and enjoy being able to come and go as I please.

List some clubs or organizations you are involved in at UT Dallas. Thursday Night Swords, ATSA (ATEC Students Association).

List some hobbies. Art, watching movies, perusing the Internet and video games.

Something that people may not know about me. I can ride a unicycle.

Why did you decide to become a FYL?
After my experience as an Orientation Team Mentor (OTM), I wanted to continue giving back to the University in some other capacity. FYL seemed like a good chance to do that.

What advice do you have for freshmen?
Don’t stay cooped up in your apartments. I know the sun is scary and burns, but trust me you will have a lot more fun if you get out there and get involved!

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
Got involved with a group or organization. I missed out on some great opportunities to meet all kinds of people that could have helped me study or just been great friends.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
I like how much change is going on and all the opportunities to leave your mark on the University.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
I was originally going to double major in computer science and art in college, so the ATEC program was a perfect fit for me.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
Getting to work as an OTM. While it was hard, I enjoyed every minute because of the great people that I got to work with.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
I learned that it’s not what you know, but who you know. So get out there and meet people.

What do you like to do to unwind after class? If there is a good event on campus that interests me like the Underground Poetry Circus, I’ll go to that. Otherwise, I like to hang out with friends or kick back and play a good video game.
