Do you live on campus?
I currently live on campus, but will be moving into a house off-campus in May. I like being able to set my own schedule from week to week.

List some of the clubs or organizations you are involved in at UT Dallas.
Collegium V Honors Program, Collegium V Honors Executive Council, Society of Physics Students, Women in Physics, Math Club, North Junior High Mentoring Program, Gaming Group and First Year-Leaders.

List some clubs or organizations you are involved in outside of school.
DFW Astronomical Society and occasionally Toastmasters.

List some of your hobbies.
Reading, traveling, coffee, games, astronomical phenomena and derivations.

List something unique about yourself.
I translated all of Vergil’s Aeneid from classical Latin into English just for fun.

Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader and an Orientation Team Mentor?
I became a First-Year Leader because I really enjoyed having a First-Year Leader in my RHET 1101 class and I wanted to give something back to the program and make a difference for the incoming freshmen.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming into UT Dallas?
My advice for incoming freshmen is to learn how to balance schoolwork and play time. It is important to study hard, but at the same time freshmen need to learn to relax every now and then.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming into UT Dallas?
I wish I had studied harder my freshman year, especially the first semester. I was really intimidated by college and I let it get the better of me for a little while.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
I like that at UT Dallas our classes are small and all of my professors know me by my first name.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
I decided to attend UT Dallas because I felt that UT Dallas would offer me a chance to thrive academically.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
My favorite experience at UT Dallas thus far has been participating in the Collegium V Honors Program.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
I learned that college can be really tough, but as long as you have friends to share the ride with, you can get through it.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
After class I like to unwind by either going to the CV lounge and discussing topics of interest, or by hanging out with close friends.
