Do you live on campus? If yes, what do you like about living on your own?
Yes. I like the independence, and you really get a great chance to know the people around you.

List some of the clubs or organizations you are involved in at UT Dallas.
Volleyball, student ambassadors, CV, student athlete advisory committee, peer advisor.

List some of the clubs or organizations you are involved in outside of school.
Habitat for Humanity, Dayspring Retirement Home volunteer and youth volleyball coach.

List some of your hobbies.
Volleyball, watching or playing any other sport, shopping, baking and listening to country music.

List something unique about yourself.
I know more about baseball than most guys.

Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader?
I want to be a teacher and I felt this was a great opportunity for me to help others.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming to UT Dallas?
Get involved and meet people!

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
I wish I joined more organizations. I really didn’t get involved until my sophomore year.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
It’s very diverse; you can meet so many different kinds of people. I feel like I’m learning a lot here and I have a lot of opportunities to do things outside of school work.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
Great scholarship, volleyball team, apartments, good school for my major and the location.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
My first home volleyball game.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
You have a lot more opportunities to do different things than you had in high school.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Play volleyball, racquetball or run, hang out with friends or sleep! Most math classes are late at night, though.
