I can perfectly imitate the voice of Stitch from Lilo and Stitch.

Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader?
I wanted to give something back to the university and help incoming freshmen.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming into UT Dallas?
Enjoy the newfound independence you have gained, but do so carefully and consider the decisions you make.

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
I wish I got more involved in campus activities.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
It’s a great academic school but it’s really the friends, both students and faculty, that make UT Dallas a great school.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
It was close to home and offered a good academic program for my desired field of study.

What has been your favorite/best UT Dallas experience so far?
Teaching freshmen rhetoric for two years has been a very rewarding experience and I’m looking forward to my third.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
The independence you have must be treated with respect and not abused.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Listen to music. It’s a great way to relax and just be.
