Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader?
I feel it’s time to give something back and I want to help students avoid some of the mistakes I’ve made.

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming into UT Dallas?
Eventually, waiting until the last minute stops working.

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
Work less hours to have more time to become more involved in school life.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
The genuine desire for students to be active in their roles at school.

What has been your favorite or best UT Dallas experience so far?
Finding a group of people that I’ve remained close friends with that I can rely on as a study group.

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
How in control I really an of my own education and that I alone am the final word in any big decision.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Go to The PUB and eat lunch with friends and talk.
