Why did you decide to become a First-Year Leader?
I want to help freshmen jump hurdles that I experienced, especially if they were not used to college (first in family to go to college, etc).

What advice do you have for the freshman class coming into UT Dallas?
Balance study and play, attend class, don’t procrastinate, and definitely get involved in campus.

What do you wish you did during your freshman year that you didn’t?
Get more involved in campus and make more friends.

What do you like about UT Dallas?
Diversity and excellent professors.

Why did you decide to attend UT Dallas?
Scholarship, proximity to home, challenging work.

What has been your favorite or best UT Dallas experience so far?
Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity

What did you learn about college life that you didn’t know before?
The punishment of being flustered associated with procrastinating.

What do you like to do to unwind after class?
Get on the computer and listen to music.
