How to register your itinerary manually in ISOS

Instructions for UT Dallas Travelers

If you have a MyTrips Account

  1. Go to MyTrips at https://mytrips.travelsecurity.com/Login.aspx?ci=Hrp7pMUi1a8%3d
  2. Log in to MyTrips
  3. If you have problems accessing your account, contact ISOS at their customer support center at US: +1-6462590477 or [email protected]

If you need to create a MyTrips account.

  1. Go to MyTrips at https://mytrips.travelsecurity.com/Login.aspx?ci=Hrp7pMUi1a8%3d
  2. Click on New User and set up your (the traveler’s) account.
  3. Important. The preferred e-mail address and phone number used in the MyTrips account should allow the traveler to receive emergency and alert e-mails sent by ISOS or e-mails / texts sent by UT Dallas. In case of emergency the University will send a message to this e-mail address and phone number to ask the traveler to check in or will send time sensitive information.
  4. Save the Username and Password in a secure place.

Enter your Itinerary

  1. Log in to your My Trips account
  2. Click on Create New Trip and enter the information for your trip or the portion of your trip that needs registration.
  3. You can only edit information on trips you have registered.
  4. If you have issues registering your trip, contact ISOS at their customer support center at US: +1-6462590477 or [email protected].

Add Flight

  1. Airline: Select appropriate airline.  If you are entering a tentative return trip as you have not yet booked it, enter (YY).
  2. Departure City and Arrival City: Enter the cities you will depart from and arrive to
  3. Confirmation number: It is always better to enter an actual confirmation number, however if you do not have one, you can enter 111111.
  4. Flight number:  Enter the flight number.
  5. Departure and Arrival Dates/Times: Enter departure and arrival dates/times
  6. Click on SAVE. This is very important, otherwise your trip information will not be active and UT Dallas will not be able to pull it when checking for travelers in a particular region.

Add Accommodation

  1. Name: Enter Hotel Name or Lodging Company Name (ex. Arbn), or Residential if you will stay with family or friends
  2. Check in and Check out dates:  Enter start and end dates of when you will be at that location
  3. Address: Enter the address of the Hotel or Residence you will stay at
  4. Phone Number:  Enter the phone number you can be reached at in that location
  5. Confirmation Number:  It is always better to enter an actual confirmation number, however if you do not have one, you can enter 111111.
  6. Type: Select Regular
  7. Click on SAVE. This is very important, otherwise your trip information will not be active and UT Dallas will not be able to pull it when checking for travelers in a particular region.

Add Train

  1. Train Carrier: Select appropriate carrier
  2. Departure City and Arrival City: Enter the cities you will depart from and arrive to
  3. Confirmation number: It is always better to enter an actual confirmation number, however if you do not have one, you can enter 111111.
  4. Train number:  Enter the train number.
  5. Departure and Arrival Dates/Times: Enter departure and arrival dates/times
  6. Click on SAVE. This is very important, otherwise your trip information will not be active and UT Dallas will not be able to pull it when checking for travelers in a particular region.

Add Ground Transportation

  1. Name: Enter Car Rental Company Name if you will rent a car, or Driver’s name + Car Rental Company or Personal if you will be transported in a car other person has rented or owns, or Personal if you will use or be transported in a family car.
  2. Pickup and Dropoff Cities and Country(ies): Enter the city, country you will depart from and arrive to.
  3. Telephone: Enter the telephone number of the Car Rental Company, or the Driver if the car was not rented.
  4. Pickup Date/Time and Dropoff Date/Time.  Enter appropriate Dates/Times
