NEWS ARCHIVE circa 2007: Awesome Math Summer Program:
Makes X Y Z as easy as A B C.

AwesomeMath, a mathematics summer camp for 8th-12th grade students, held its extremely successful inaugural summer camp at UT Dallas in 2006. 101 students from U.S.A. and six other countries joined the summer camp's unparalleled faculty and staff for three weeks and dove into meaningful and rewarding mathematics. Feedback from the participating students and their families, as well as from their teachers, was overwhelmingly positive.

The AwesomeMath Summer Program is directed by Dr. Titu Andreescu, UT Dallas' Mathematics Education associate professor. Andreescu served as the Director of the American Mathematics Competitions (1998 - 2003) and Head Coach of the USA Math Olympiad Team (1995 - 2002). Professor Andreescu is also the editor of the free on-line journal Mathematical Reflections. The journal publishes student articles, problems and solutions, and its readership is steadily increasing.
