Executive Master’s

The executive master’s degree in SEM is aimed toward the working professional with at least three years of professional experience who can enroll only in classes offered late Fridays and on Saturdays.

Classes in the executive education format are held on alternate Friday evenings and on Saturdays, in four-hour sessions. Ten sessions are needed in a semester to complete a course.

The broad curriculum of classes range from systems architecture and design to business finance and strategic leadership.

Faculty for the primary SEM courses are drawn from both the engineering and management schools, other UT Dallas schools and industry leaders with expertise in specific fields. Industry partners include Raytheon, Hewlett-Packard, Rockwell Collins, Ericsson and Texas Instruments.

Certificates in SEM, which require only 12 credit hours, also are offered in an executive education, four-hour format. Please visit Certificates for more information.
