Texas Regional Collaborative

The UT Dallas Collaborative for Excellence in Science and Math Teaching (TRC): A grant-supported program, the UTD TRC is one of 66 Texas Regional Collaboratives dedicated to providing support systems of scientifically researched, sustained, and high intensity professional development to in-service science or mathematics teachers. A cadre of Science and Math Teacher Mentors attend at least a hundred hours of professional development, which may include summer sessions, Saturday sessions, and MAT course work, and train additional cadre members. The UTD TRC provides some MAT tuition support, abundant teacher materials, opportunities to attend teacher conferences.

Join the 2017-2018 UT Dallas Texas Regional Collaborative (UTD TRC) for Excellence in Science Teaching or Mathematics Teaching! Teachers in Tested Levels- Grades 5 and Up Needed!

If you teach a STAAR/EOC tested grade level, please consider being an Immersion Teacher for the upcoming grant year! We need at least 8 schools each for science and math, just to submit our proposals for funding next year. All we need from you is a principal letter on school letterhead. Below is our recruitment packet, as well as the flyer for a special opportunity if interested in becoming certified to teach 8-12 computer science.

Participate as an 8th grade Immersion School Campus!

Immersion Campuses will have one guaranteed accepted teacher for the UTD TRC. Meeting Immersion Requirements and principal letter of support required.
