Bangladeshi Student Organization (BSO)

Mission Statement

Bangladeshi Student Organization's mission is to promote the culture of Bangladesh in the Dallas metroplex, engage in a variety of activities across the campus that promotes diversity and multicultural unity and to help new students adapt to life in the United States and embrace the Comet spirit of UT Dallas. We pride in our culture and cosmopolitan outlook which transcends our duty from being a cultural to a multicultural student organization.

What is the one event that your organization is most proud of hosting?

Bangladesh Night is our flagship event which we host annually. The event educates the UT Dallas community of the rich and vibrant culture of Bangladesh and brings the campus together in promoting diversity and community engagement. It also provides UT Dallas with an opportunity to interact with our sister organizations at The University of North Texas and University of Texas at Arlington. The goal is for students and faculty to learn about our history and tradition through various cultural performances.
