CARE Award Recipients
The CARE Award program spotlights staff deserving of special recognition by virtue of having "demonstrated superior performance, offered outstanding customer service or performed acts which have enhanced the image of the University." Any regular employee who is a non-faculty staff member below the level of vice-president, and is employed beyond the probation period, is eligible as a potential nominee. Nominations may be submitted by staff, faculty, students, and others including University customers. Each awardee is presented with a handsome desk clock, appropriately inscribed, and a framed certificate of recognition as permanent and tangible mementos of their contributions.
“We don’t say thank you often enough,” Dr. Daniel said in presenting the awards. “It’s a chance for us to express our sincere appreciation.”
