Staff Council Election for 2009-2011
It is that time of year again: Staff Council Elections.
The Staff Council is utilizing electronic ballots. We hope you will find the election process streamlined, quick, and simple. This method, seemed very well received and used last elections. Feel free to let us know how the process worked for you by emailing the SC President at tlosavio@utdallas.edu. At the bottom of this page, you will find info and photos on most all candidates who are seeking election at your fingertips.
You will be emailed a link to the Survey Monkey ballot specifically for your district.
If you do not receive an election email by June 2, please email tlosavio@utdallas.edu.
Please take the time to complete the electronic ballot, and submit it to us. Please submit a vote for the number of candidates requested (For example, if three positions are needed to be filled, please vote for three people). Additionally, if you are choosing to vote for a candidate not listed (but is in your district); you may choose to write in a candidate’s name in the “Other” category.
All ballots must be submitted by 5:00 PM on Monday, June 8, 2009, or they will not be counted.
All active, classified employees appointed one-half time or more for at least 4 ½ months and those administrative and professional employees below the level of Vice President/Vice Provost not represented by the Faculty Senate, are eligible to nominate and vote. In addition, those nominated to serve must also have a minimum of one year of continuous service at the University as of September 1, 2009. There will be 1 representative for every 30 staff members in each district. Voting districts entitled to elect representatives are defined geographically by building/mail station.
