Lynn Butler: Administrative Services Officer — Academic Affairs and Provost

Lynn began her university journey 22 years ago in the McDermott Library and has made numerous stops and friendships along the way. Although her journey began in the library where many lasting memories began, her next destination was the VP for Business Affairs Office. She finally landed under the Provost Office and enjoys the academic area once again where she works in the GEMS Center. Lynn was also one of several staff members who pioneered and served on the first Staff Council.

The Staff Council not only works toward the fulfillment of the staff, but also the faculty and students as well which promotes team work and helps enrich the UT Dallas community and eventually Tier One. That kind of environment is where Lynn's vision for the University leads her.

My name is Natalie de Leon and I am fairly new here at UTD. I am a Dallas native and have been involved in fundraising for many organizations here in the metroplex. Being at UTD has made such a positive impact on my life both personally and professionally, that it motivates me to get more involved. I would like to be a part of the Staff Council so that I may put my past experiences with Non-Profits to good use and get to know more about the UTD community and culture outside of my department.

My name is Chelsea Villareal; I am the Administrative Assistant to the Residential Life department. I have been employed with UTD two years this coming September. I reside in McKinney, Texas with my 12 year old daughter Haley and my husband Kirk. I am very excited about being nominated for Staff Council. I would like to represent my fellow peers, be involved on campus, and continue to grow my career here at UTD.

I am the Administrative Assistant for Disability Services, a UT Dallas Alumni (BS Business '82), and the mother of two UT Dallas students. I am invested in the success of UT Dallas. I want to give back to the University that has given my family so much. I hope to bring the enthusiasm of a new employee to the staff council.
