Carol Lanham: Administrative Assistant — Facilities Management

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I currently hold the position of Administrative Assistant for Facilities Management and have been here since January, 2007. I began working for the University in June of 1989 as a Clerk Typist for Facilities Mgmt, originally known as Physical Plant. Later became a Secretary and then an Admin. Seven years later my supervisor, Jody Nelsen was promoted and I moved with her. Now after 17 years I have gone full circle and am back at Facilities Management.

I served on the committee that established the Staff Council’s Bylaws and held several terms in office as a representative. Also, it was my great pleasure to receive the Staff Council’s CARE Award. It would be an honor to represent District 5 and appreciate the nomination.
