You can utilize the power of the World Wide Web to search for additional sources of scholarships available to pay the cost of attending UT Dallas. You need to be careful with the information you obtain from the Web. If it is too good to be true it usually is. Before you pay a fee for any scholarship search, check your information carefully.

 

AARP Foundation

The AARP Foundation announces a new scholarship program to help low-income women 40+ participate in education and training opportunities. Approximately 100 scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 are expected to be awarded in the first round.

AmeriCorps
Each year, more than 40,000 members serve with programs in every state in the nation. You'll receive a modest living allowance, health insurance, student loan deferment, and training. Gilman International Scholarship Program

The Gilman International Scholarship Program offers a competition for awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunity Act of 2000.  This scholarship provides awards for U.S. undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at a 2-year or 4-year college or university to participate in study abroad programs worldwide.

Rotary District 5810 Ambassadorial Scholarship

Men and women who have completed 2 years of college, or high school plus 2 years of work, by the time their scholarship period begin and plan to study in a foreign country where Rotary is present may apply for one of two (2), $28,000 9-month scholarships.  There are no age restrictions.  For application forms, visit the Rotary Organization's website at http://www.rotary.org/foundation/educational/amb_scho/index.html .
