Changes in Optional Practical Training (7/23/04)

Students graduating in December can apply for their 12 months of Optional Practical Training as early as August 11. OPT applications must be received by USCIS prior to the graduation date. The processing time for your OPT request will be shortened from five to seven business to three business days. Please attend an OPT Workshop to ensure that you have a complete application.
