Graduate teaching and research assistantships: Assistantships are issued through the academic program of your discipline of study. For information on availability, eligibility criteria, and application procedures, please contact your academic department directly.
The Eugene McDermott Scholars Program is available to students nominated by their high school, college preparatory school or equivalent.
All freshmen admitted to the university are automatically considered for the UTD Academic Excellence Scholarship.

Outside scholarships may be found by searching any number of financial aid resources available on the web. You may also want to review the Alternative Sources of Financial Aid page.
Though on-campus jobs are scarce, you may may consider applying for a part-time campus job after you arrive. International students with F-1 status and a UTD I-20 are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week if the job is on campus. All campus jobs are acquired through UTD's Career Center.
