Room Reservations

UT Dallas academic programs or administrative offices must make room reservations through the Office of the Registrar Astra reservation system for internal businesses. Before placing a request, please check the Room Reservation page to confirm that the Office of the Registrar is responsible for scheduling the desired room(s).

Access to the Astra Reservation System

For access to the Office of the Registrar Astra reservation system, please send a request including your name, title, email address, extension and NetID to the Registrar Scheduling Team.

The individual who is designated by the program or administrative office to make room requests must be known to the Office of the Registrar, i.e., must be a departmental scheduling contact or administrative assistant.

Making Reservations

Event reservations received for rooms scheduled by the Office of the Registrar will be processed within 2-3 days. Please allow for this processing time when making a request.

Event reservations for future semesters open approximately three weeks after the schedule of classes is published on CourseBook. Requests for rooms received before event reservations open for a given semester will not be accepted. Please submit separate requests for each event via the Office of the Registrar Astra reservation system.

Student Organizations

Student organizations needing accommodations should submit reservations request using the Student Affairs room reservation system.  For additional assistance please contact the SU Event Coordinator, for Facilities and Operations at 972-883-2945.

Rooms Not Scheduled through the Office of the Registrar

Many rooms on campus are not scheduled through the Office of the Registrar. A list of room contacts can be found on the Room Reservation page of the Event Planning Guide.
