Academic Affairs Committee
The Academic Affairs Committee serves as a liaison between students and university administrators and faculty regarding academic policies and issues. The committee functions as an outlet to voice student opinion and to facilitate further development of educational opportunities at UTD. The Academic Affairs Committee often works closely with other SG committees. This year, the committee will concentrate on a number of projects including: increasing opportunities for foreign language education, monitoring changes in curricula such as new majors, minors, and courses, working to promote better cooperation between students and academic advisors, and raising student awareness of all of these developments.
The Academic Affairs Committee exists to advocate on behalf of students, so please do not hesitate to contact any SG Senator if you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions for future projects regarding academic affairs.
