Student Government

The senate is currently full, so we will not be making any more appointments at this time. Applications are, however, considered on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply and we will contact you if a seat does become available at any time during the next year!

Senate Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Student Government Senator.

To serve on Student Senate, you must be a currently enrolled student at UT-Dallas (at least 9 hours for undergraduate students / 6 hours for graduate students), hold a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75, not be on scholastic or disciplinary probation with the University, and be available to attend Senate meetings every other Tuesday from 5:15pm-7pm.

Submit the application below. To be considered, applicants must also complete this form and deliver it to Gloria Kelley in the Student Government Office (SU 2.4).
