Student Business Alliance

Each year, Student Government invites local businesses to take part in the Student Business Alliance, which provides the student body with discounts from local restaurants and retailers. To receive these benefits, a student must only present his/her Comet Card to a participating retailer. The following include businesses participating for the 2008-2009 school year.

• Cartridge World of Richardson - 10% off ink and toner refills
• Club Calypso - 10% off all merchandise
• Douglas Crosby D.D.S., M.S. - 10% off bill (does not include invisalign)
• Embroidme- Plano - 20% off catelog price
• Firestone Complete Auto Care - 10% off
• Golf Tournament.com - 20% off catalog (except risk event insurance)
• Grandy's - 10% off
• Li Chiropractic & Acupuncture Clinic - 10% off any exam and treatment
• Nikki's Restaurant - 10% off
• Scalini's Pizza & Pasta - 15% off bill (including gratutity and alcohol)
• Star Pipe and Hookah - 20% off Hooka and pipes
• The UPS Store of Richardson - 10% off bill (except for postal products and UPS shipping)

 

Business Benefits
Businesses taking part in the Student Business Alliance receive free advertisement on Student Government literature and our campus newspaper, The UTD Mercury. Interested businesses should contact sg@utdallas.edu for more information.
