on campus for an assessment of alcohol and other drug problems or
concerns.

Individual interviews and tests may
be used
to assist in determining the nature and extent of substance use
problems.

COUNSELING
AOD counseling is also provided on
campus.
Assistance in helping a friend who has an AOD problem can also be
obtained.

| PHEDs
Peer Health Educators are students
trained
to provide information to the UTD community regarding health and
wellness
related issues. PHEDs are available for programs, presentations,
skits, and campus awareness events. Their purpose is to encourage
and educate their peers about healthy lifestyle choices.
