Your home away from home! The Student Union is a 70,000-square-foot facility that gives you the opportunity to engage in a variety of fun and educational activities. Our services and programs are integral to the educational mission of UTD, providing cultural, social and recreational opportunities.
Organizations
For student organizations, the Student Union is like a second home. Here, you can find out information about Greek Life, UTD's Cheer and Powerdancers, UTD Mercury, Student Government and Orientation Team Mentors.
Center for Student Involvement
The CSI, or Center for Student Involvement, provides many services for students. A free local phone and fax just begins the long list of services available to students here.
Activities
Students can enjoy ping pong, pool, carom, checkers, chess, and a variety of card games in the downstairs recreation area. Upstairs, students may eat in the Comet Café or hang out in the comfortable Comet Lounge.
The SU plans group activities ranging from morning breakfasts and daytime fairs to late night dance parties and all night coffee.
SUAAB
SUAAB, or Student Union Activities Advisory Board, creates and organizes many events for the student body. These events range from late night poetry slams to early morning snack breaks.
