Gen X women (22-35) need information to guide their financial planning. Gen X women want to learn about financial planning in different ways. Community-based educators need tools and curricula for outreach education.
Wise Up is an introductory approach to financial planning emphasizing action steps that individuals can take to achieve these goals.

The Family Place
The Family Place is a Dallas-based, nonprofit organization that provides assistance to victims of family violence. In 1978, The Family Place counseled its first client, and for the past 26 years, it has actively developed programs to meet the needs of the Dallas community.
The Family Place is nationally recognized for its high quality programs and comprehensive services. They include 24-hour Hotline service, emergency shelter and counseling services for battered women, a Supportive Living and Transitional Housing program for women and children that provides subsidized housing, employment, education and child care to give them the time and resources to build new, non-violent lives, therapeutic programs and counseling for children, group and individual counseling for men seeking to end violent behavior, incest recovery services and outreach services for women who need counseling.
