Fraternity and Sorority Life
  • 54 women have registered for Panhellenic recruitment, scheduled for Sept. 9-11 in the Galaxy Rooms and the Faculty/Staff Dining Room.
 
Student Development
  • The following SOC OrgSync forms are open for the fall 2016 semester (descriptions and instructions are included in links): Operating funds, programming funds and event enhancers request.
  • Sign up to volunteer for the Welcome Back Bash, scheduled for Aug. 21.
  • Sign up to participate in Cometville on Aug. 24 and help welcome students, staff and faculty to campus.
  • Each month a different student leader will be selected for the Student Leadership Spotlight, with first spotlight debuting in September. Nominations are available online.
  • If your area purchases StrengthsQuest codes, please contact Beth Roller with the number you buy annually.
  • Student Government is currently interviewing candidates to fill multiple seats. Please encourage students to apply.
 
Student Union
  • The Student Union now manages the Faculty/Staff Dining Room. Reservations for the space are available through Virtual EMS.
 
Student Volunteerism
  • Aug. 20: Last Community Garden workday of the summer, 8 a.m. Fall workdays are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month, beginning Sept. 10.
  • Administrative assistant II position is now posted.
  • Search for a program coordinator is underway.
  • Aug. 22: Student organization group registration for Viva Volunteer opens on OrgSync.
  • Aug. 22: Registration for Freshmen Engaged in Service Together (FEST) opens.
  • Aug. 26: Volunteer Expo, 1-3 p.m., Activity Center Main Gym.
