Vice President for Student Affairs

  • Comets Giving Day is April 3. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations will conduct hour-long training sessions on Feb. 7. If you're part of a group that wants to participate, email [email protected] and request a session. The Feb. 7 presentations will be in DGA 1.135. The first-timers' class will be at 9 a.m. and past participants at 10:30 a.m. Groups only need to attend one session.

Athletics

  • Cross Country student-athletes Lindsey Rayborn and John Will have been named the ASC's Distinguished Scholar-Athletes for their respective sports. Rayborn, a senior from Pocatello, Idaho, claimed the honor for the second straight season while Will, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., becomes the first-ever Comet male runner to claim the recognition.
  • Feb. 10: Softball vs. Mary Hardin-Baylor, 1 and 3 p.m., softball field. Season opener.
  • Feb. 15: Women and men's basketball vs. LeTourneau, 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., Activity Center. Commuter Night.
  • Feb. 17: Women and men's basketball vs. East Texas Baptist, 2 and 4 p.m., Activity Center. Community Appreciation Day/Senior Recognition.
  • Feb. 18: Women and men's tennis vs. Whitworth, 12 p.m., tennis courts.
  • Feb. 23: Baseball vs. Belhaven, 1 and 3 p.m., baseball field. Home opener.
