Texas Higher Education Assessment (THEA)

The Student Success Center offers regularly scheduled Quick THEA testing only. If you have questions about Quick THEA, please call our office, 972-883-6707.

Prior to registering, students are strongly urged to take the THEA Practice Test and visit the online resources page to prepare.

Quick THEA

You may register to take the test through the Student Success Center, located in the McDermott Library 1.302. Drop-by or call 972.883.6707.

The cut-off for signing up for the Quick THEA is 5 PM the weekday (Monday - Friday) before the test is administered.

For each of the following test dates, examinees must report to the testing location no later than the time noted. You must wait 30 days between Quick THEA tests.

Note: Examinees for all UT Dallas-administered tests are required to show proof of identification, and absolutely no electronic devices (e.g. cell phones, pagers, PDAs, etc.), purses or bags of any kind, and food or beverage are allowed in the testing room. UT Dallas is not responsible for items left outside the testing area.
