The Student Success Center offers regularly scheduled testing THEA (Texas Higher Education Assessment) only. If you have questions about THEA or other testing services, please call 972-883-6707.

Prior to registering, students are strongly urged to take the THEA Practice Test (off-site) and visit the online resources page to prepare.

Quick THEA

UT Dallas periodically offers the Quick THEA Test which requires pre-registration through the Student Success Center MC 1.302. For questions about Quick THEA Test registration and scheduling, call 972.883.6707 or send an email message. The cut-off for signing up for the Quick THEA is 5 PM the weekday (Monday-Friday) before the test is administered.

For each of the following test dates, examinees must report to the testing location no later than the time noted in parentheses. You must wait 30 days between Quick THEA tests.

• November 12, 2012 (arrive at 8:40am)
• December 20, 2012 ( arrive at 8:40am)
• January 11, 2013 (arrive at 8:40am)
• February 26, 2013 ( arrive at 8:40am)
• March 29, 2013 ( arrive at 8:40am)
• April 30, 2013 ( arrive at 8:40am)
• May 17, 2013 ( arrive at 8:40am)

Note: Examinees for all UT Dallas-administered tests are required to show proof of identification, and absolutely no electronic devices (e.g. cell phones, pagers, PDAs, etc.), purses or bags of any kind, and food or beverage are allowed in the testing room. UT Dallas is not responsible for items left outside the testing area.
