Educator Supply and Demand Workforce in Texas
The University of Texas at Dallas Teacher Certification programs provide rigorous, university-based coursework with extensive field experience, including student teaching or a supervised post-baccalaureate internship to students interested in making teaching and/or school administration their career.
Many of our graduates have gone on to become principals and executive directors; our graduates include a Teacher of the Year in Garland ISD, Teacher of the Year in Plano ISD, Milken Educator Award winner, Superintendent Service Award winner and a professor of Curriculum and Instruction in the Natural Sciences in our program.
UT Dallas offers Teacher Certification options for both undergraduate and for post-baccalaureate students.
