Grades EC- 6 - Generalist + ESL Supplement
All students seeking certification
must be advised in the Teacher Development Center.
Undergraduate students must first
meet with an academic advisor before being advised
in the Teacher Development Center. EC-6 students usually major in Interdisciplinary Studies or Child Learning and Development. Post baccalaureate
students must have previous coursework evaluated
by a certification advisor to be sure they fulfill
the content curriculum requirement of:
- 12 hours English
- 12 hours Science
- 12 hours Social Studies
- 9 hours Mathematics
- Public Speaking course or Official Documentaion of Effective Oral Communication Skills
